Baking Club
We saw a lot of delicious eats last week at Lulworth House Residential Care Home!
Audrey’s birthday cake was a vision of strawberries, cream and chocolate and we also made our Easter Party cake – decorated with chocolate eggs.
We celebrated Banana Day (from the USA) on Wednesday 20 April, when our residents mashed bananas and blended them with chocolate ice cream, Oreos and banana milk to create delicious banana and chocolate biscuit milkshakes!
These were enjoyed as a choice on our morning tea trolly. Delicious!
Cheese and wine
After all the sweet treats, our ladies and gents really enjoyed a cheese and wine (or apple juice) afternoon last week.
We had a lovely selection of cheeses and crackers, beautifully displayed on boards on our trolley, and our staff went around our lounges and offered everyone something.
This delicious way to spend an afternoon went down very well with everyone – cheers!
