On Wednesday 22 February here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home we held our magnificent 1920s party!
Families and friends joined us for celebrations, a raffle, our ‘best outfit’ competition and lots of photo opportunities. Well done to Katja who was chosen as ‘best dressed’ by our residents.
We also welcomed a fantastic singer called Sarah who sang a mixture of songs from 1920s, 30s and 40s and got us all on the dance floor.
Inspired by three of our amazing residents who were born in the 1920s, we wanted to celebrate the century in style and we certainly did! Great fun!
This was also an occasion to say a fond farewell to our lovely Activities Coordinator Michaela who is leaving us – you will be missed Michaela!
