To celebrate Pancake Day on Tuesday 21 February, our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home had a fruit-tastic day helping to prepare fresh fruit on platters to share on our dining tables and fill our delicious pancakes with.
They were very creative making smiley faces and mandalas and it was super to have such sweet treats for everyone at pudding! Bananas, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries – there was something for everyone.
Katja our Nourishment and Social Wellness Coordinator cooked our yummy pancakes which our residents thoroughly enjoyed with their selection of toppings, which included a tempting array of fruit coulis, chocolate sauce, maple syrup, Biscoff spread and the classic lemon juice. Yum yum yum!
