We had an influx of knitted sparkly hedgehogs at Lulworth House Residential Care Home so we did an adopt a hedgehog morning.
Our residents were given their own certificate and a name tag so they could ‘officially’ adopt them, and we used pipe cleaners and beads to make our own collars.
We ended up with some unique hedgehogs called ‘Silver Joy’, ‘Barbie’, ‘John’ and ‘Lola’. Dot was overjoyed with her hedgehog and said, “It’s like Christmas day!”
