On Sunday 3 September we spent the morning baking here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
We made a delicious coffee cake; our residents chose this so it could be enjoyed at our weekly tea party! It was a simple but delicious recipe that everyone loved.
In the afternoon, we set the tables with our best table cloths, tea sets, cakes and coffees/teas and had a very posh tea party in our ‘La Piazza’.
We spent time together chatting, laughing and planning future activities. The tea party is such a nice way for everyone to have a break without having to go too far. As the weather was nice, we could open the doors to our coffee house and enjoy the fresh air at the same time. Perfect!
