Here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home we had two very special visitors on Tuesday 5 September, in the form of Hugo and Truffle, a mischievous pair of alpacas!
Our residents loved stroking and cuddling them – Penny was especially shocked and said, “I can’t believe how fluffy they are!”
Everyone asked lots of questions about them and we were especially intrigued about the fact that they only had two toes and originated from Peru and Bolivia.
There wasn’t a face without a smile and all our ladies and gents wanted to keep them in their bedrooms as pets!
