Happy birthday Frank!
On Friday 18 August we celebrated Frank’s birthday at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
He had a beautiful cake made by our Chef which was decorated by our Nourishment and Social Wellness Coordinator Katja who did a fantastic job.
He received some lovely gifts from his family and was very pleased with his special day and of course, his cake!
Cheese and wine
As part of the day, we put on another cheese and wine tasting session for our residents. Everyone loved trying the different wines and cheeses and it made a great birthday treat for Frank too!
On offer we had – feta, Wensleydale and cranberry, blue stilton, Gloucestershire and chive, Applewood smoked cheese and red Leicester, alongside a selection of crackers, bruschetta, olives, grapes, garlic sausage slices and pepperoni slices. This was accompanied by white wines and rose wine too.
Needless to say, we had a fantastic little feast!
