Penny had a wonderful birthday with us at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, with lots of visitors during the day and a lovely outing and dinner in the evening.
We decorated our lounge with banners and balloons and our residents helped make it a special day by giving her birthday wishes and singing ‘Happy birthday‘ to her.
We filled the day with activities that Penny enjoys, including some baking.
Katja, Our Nourishment and Social Wellness Coordinator, made a colourful sponge birthday cake for the celebrations, decorated in pale pink icing and slices of Battenberg cake. Penny loved the look of it so much that she even had a cheeky bite!
