Our Lulworth House Residential Care Home residents enjoyed a fantastic Father’s Day on Sunday with some reminiscence and live music.
We began the day by thinking about all fathers, past and present, and shared some memory poems with everybody.
After this, we spent some time thinking about which words we would use to describe our fathers, using the letters from ‘FATHER’, one lovely example read:

Later in the afternoon we welcomed Tommy Parsons, a talented singer who performed all the cockney classics. We sang our way to Tipperary, did the Lambeth Walk, packed up our troubles in our old kit bag and SMILED a lot! Great fun!
