On Wednesday 21 June we spent a lovely sunny afternoon at Lulworth House Residential Care Home enjoying some flower arranging with our residents.
This is a perfect activity at Lulworth, as many of our residents used to be florists, so it brings up lots of fond memories for them.
Many residents participated in trimming and arranging flowers in vases to make beautiful bouquets which we displayed all around our Home.
Some of our residents’ relatives also got involved and we all had fun socialising and enjoying a laugh together. It was a really engaging session and our Home florists taught us lots of things about flowers that we never knew before!
