International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day tea party
We enjoyed a very special day on Friday 8 March here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, as we celebrated International Women’s Day, plus Mother’s Day a little early.
Families were invited to join us for a lovely tea party when we served scones and cupcakes from our local bakery – scrumptious they were too! We’d picked fresh daffodils from our front garden for our table centrepieces which looked amazing all made up with pastel colours. Our residents loved admiring the decorations and everyone felt very posh with our china cups. We made sure to lift our pinky fingers up whilst we drank our tea!
It was a very special day and we were definitely spreading the love – a wonderful way to celebrate all our beautiful ladies and mums.
