Everyone is getting into the Christmas spirit here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home and we’re already thinking about what we can ask Santa to bring us down the chimney!
We are going Christmas shopping on Wednesday for our residents and made it a priority to ask them what they would like to receive for Christmas, so we can get them something personal.
We asked them to write down their Christmas wish on a little red heart and post it in our Christmassy mailbox ready to be given to ‘Santa in Lapland’ as they said. Many of our ladies and gents were very modest and asked for things like ‘To see my friends and family for Christmas‘ or to ‘Give it to someone who needs it more‘.
It was lovely to see our residents smiling at the thought that they’d be receiving a gift this year and we can’t wait to see them opening them on Christmas Day.
