On Thursday 1 September, our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home were thrilled to have an outing to our local Dementia Memory Cafè run by Age UK.
After a lovely drive and sing along, our residents Bob, Tim, Phil and Olive enjoyed tea, coffee, sweets and a chat with Tracey our host at the cafe.
The room was filled with fantastic decorations (we took note of how we could recreate them back at our Home!) as well as local history books which we looked through while reminiscing about the good old days.
A lovely morning in the community, getting to know other local people – and hopefully many more to come!
