When life gives you pumpkins… you make pizza! We really felt like we were in the Great British Bake Off this week at Lulworth House Residential Care Home when our spooky pumpkin pizzas came out of the oven.
We made our own dough and decorated our pizza bases with pepperoni, onions, peppers and of course cheese! With Halloween approaching, our residents had fun making pumpkin faces and shapes on their designs.
Residents ate their pizzas for tea and said they were delicious – even if they were a little bit on the spooky side!
Our residents really enjoy our weekly baking sessions and say it reminds them of being at home and being able to make dinners for their families.
