Valentine’s Menu
For Valentine’s Day at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, we transformed our conservatory for fine dining for our lovely couples that live at our Home.
Spouses came to join their loved ones on the day and we served a three course special Valentine’s menu for all our residents and guests.
Themed baking
Katja, our Nourishment and Social Wellness Coordinator, held a Valentine’s themed baking session too.
Doreen helped Katja to make lovely Valentines biscuits in pink shortbread; she was very good at mixing the ingredients and held the grease proof paper while Kajta rolled the dough out.
These delicious biscuits were enjoyed during afternoon tea, when our residents loved sharing stories of their Valentine’s Day experiences in the past.
Helping hands
We’ve had a lot of lovely helping hands this week! Chris, Marion, Sylvia, Diana, Sue and Bob have all helped at different times to clean up our dining room after meals, or helped to lay the tables for the next one.
