This past week our ladies at Lulworth House Residential Care Home have enjoyed the sunshine in our conservatory during our creative writing and reminiscence morning.
They enjoyed looking through old pictures, as well as writing about memories using stickers and colours. Some of our ladies brought their dementia dolls, so we reenacted a ‘mother and baby’ session where they enjoyed cuddling and dressing their dolls.
In the afternoon we talked about A.A. Milne, the author of Winnie the Pooh. We decorated our Home with pictures from the original book, as well as meaningful quotes from the stories.
After a honey tasting session with Katja last week, we discussed the importance of bees on our planet and associated flowers and spring with light thoughts and happiness.
A wonderful way to celebrate friendship and happiness that overcome all life’s difficulties!
