We tried to recreate the classic Jammie Dodger biscuit in our Baking Club last week here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
It was quite technical, as our residents had to layer two sheets of pastry over each other and fill with jam, but you can definitely see the resemblance!
We had quite a big session, so we decided to split into two teams; our team names were ‘The Fabulous Four’ and ‘The Baking Babes’.
Each team had to follow the recipe and see who could recreate the best Jammie Dodger – in the end we declared both teams the winners as it was too difficult to choose!
