We have a lovely tradition here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, where we invite family members to come in to help decorate our Christmas tree with their loved ones.
This year we served mulled wine, soft drinks and mince pies and had a big Christmas bonanza with Christmas songs on full blast and lots of Christmas jumpers in sight!
Our residents loved admiring all the decorations and were the best coordinators, as they bossed us around all day telling us where they’d like things put!
Their relatives said they’d had a wonderful time and enjoyed the festive feeling of decorating with their relatives – something many of us take for granted.
