We have officially started counting down the days until Christmas here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, with our giant advent calendar donated by Wishing Hearts Charity – individually numbered gifts to look forward to during advent.
We’ve found them a home under our Christmas tree and will be opening a gift every day until Christmas Eve.
Our residents opened our first two; one of them was a beautiful sensory tree and the other, a ‘make your own cracker’ set.
This really got our residents in the Christmas spirit as they admired all the beautiful wrapping and waited patiently to see what was inside.
….we can’t wait to see what we get next!
