At Lulworth House Residential Care Home on Thursday 8 June, we came together to make some delicious choc-chip cookies together in the morning.
We had many helping hands to assist us in a variety of tasks – from cracking eggs to weighing ingredients and mixing. Our residents enjoyed getting involved in the process, which got a little messy of course! Some of us even had a nibble on the chocolate chips before baking!
When the cookies came out of the oven, we were very proud of them and enjoyed serving them to everyone at afternoon tea. We had great reviews!
Next time we will be advancing our baking skills and are thinking of making a lovely apple pie.
