Last week at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, Krissie from our Recreation and Well-Being Team and Nourishment and Social Wellness Coordinator Katja ran a wonderful cake sale to raise money for our Residents’ Fund.
Katja and our Administrator Hannah kindly made some festive treats to bring in. The best seller was Katja’s amazing chocolate orange, Malteser and white chocolate ‘Christmas Pudding’ – with four sold on the day and an order for three more! Hannah’s banana and Biscoff mini loaves were also very popular, especially with our staff!
We sold raffle tickets and the main prize was a large chocolate cake made during our Baking Club. Our winner was Dean who was there to take the cake home! Yum!
We are delighted to have raised around £200 from the sale. Thank you to everyone who made and bought our festive treats!
