Baking club with Katja
Katja helped a small group of her residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home make some yummy ‘Bonfire Cakes’ last week; complete with vanilla-flavoured orange-coloured buttercream flames.
They also used chocolate orange Matchmakers as decorations, to look like ‘logs on the fire’, and as ‘sticks’ for toasting marshmallows!

A visit from Ralph the dog
On Friday 29 October our residents at Lulworth House received a lovely visit from our favourite dog, Ralph. He showed us his new ball catching skills and he enjoyed cuddles from our residents which he was very happy to receive.

Diwali celebrations
We celebrated Diwali on Thursday 4 November at Lulworth House – the Indian festival of lights.
Our residents joined in with an arts and crafts activity – ringoli art. They decorated their very own mandala using threads, feathers, diamond shaped beads and glitter.
We spent time looking at pictures of decorations and talked about different cultures and ways of celebrating, while listening to Indian music. Some residents also had a hand tattoo and were showing it off proudly.
