Oktoberfest came to Lulworth House Residential Care Home on Saturday 7 October!
We had a busy day celebrating everything ‘Oktoberfest’ with a German themed day. We started off with some armchair travel to Munich, alongside some cycling and it really felt like we were travelling through the cobbled streets.
Next, we created some pretzel spiderwebs with chocolate and sprinkles – our residents gave the chocolate a good taste test beforehand, just to check it was safe to eat!
In the afternoon we hosted a pub quiz for our ladies and gents, and of course we had to have some steins to really get in the Oktoberfest spirit!
We finished the day with a photoshoot and singalong to round the festivities off in the right way! Good times!
