Our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home enjoy weekly trips and last week we went to the Sheppey seaside.
We had a wonderful day by the sea. We began by walking across the seafront, trying to find pretty shells and stones that would look great in our garden. Our residents loved the fresh sea air and were so happy to just sit and relax whilst listening to the sounds of the waves.
Later we enjoyed a delicious lunch at ‘The Playa’ where some of our residents ordered scampi whilst others went for a selection of sandwiches and a few drinks on the go.
It was a brilliant day and we will be doing a trip to the beach again soon!
