Our residents made coconut macaroons, oat and cherry cupcakes, cake truffles and (the old favourite!) cheese rounds at Baking Club last week here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
The cake truffles are made from chocolate cake, broken down into crumbs and mixed with chocolate butter cream. This is then formed into balls and covered in melted chocolate and sprinkles no less!
We then ate them at lunchtime as a cheeky dessert, with some homemade ice cream. A delicious treat!
