This past Thursday was March 10, abbreviated to ‘MAR10’ which reads as MARIO, the famous fictional Italian plumber and racing driver created by Nintendo Games, so we decided to have some motor themed fun with our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
We hosted a ‘Motor reminiscence club‘ for our ladies and gents in which we remembered our first cars – the colours, makes and number plates – which was good fun!
We then created a discussion about personalised number plates. None of our residents had had one but we had a great time coming up with ideas of what our very own personal plates would look like!
To end this fun activity we watched some Mario Kart being played on the television – Mamma Mia!
