Remembrance Sunday shortbreads
Baking club at Lulworth House Residential Care Home made a return on Monday 7 November and we made poppy shortbread.
Our ladies who helped really enjoyed getting back into baking, and we had two other residents who were offering advice and compliments – we are all very pleased with the outcome!
Katja, our Nourishment and Social Wellness Coordinator at Lulworth House said:
“We covered the shortbread in red sugar to get the red colour and we dyed some of the batch black for the middle of the poppy!”
