On Tuesday 1 August at Lulworth House Residential Care Home we arranged a flower pressing activity.
Following on from our flower arranging last week, we decided to reuse our flowers rather than throw them away and put them to good use in another activity.
We chose which flowers we liked, snipped them and arranged them into miniature bouquets using ribbons to tie them together. We put them onto card and placed another piece of card on top and pressed them together.
We have placed them under heavy books to press them ready to reuse again in another activity at the end of the week, when we will be using our dried pressed bouquets to make bookmarks.
