At Lulworth House Residential Care Home on Saturday 8 July, we spent the afternoon getting our garden in order and making sure it is looking beautiful for some of our upcoming events, including our Sports Day and Summer Fete.
Firstly, we tackled the flower beds outside of the dining room which desperately needed some plants and colour. We have a few ladies in our Home who used to be florists and others who just enjoy gardening in general, so they helped us plant flowers in a variety of colours and sizes. The results were stunning and afterwards everybody enjoyed going outside after having their lunch.
Later we moved onto our main garden where we used old empty pots to plants some bigger flowers like dahlias and begonias. Our ladies are truly experts as they knew exactly what to do, but we were also not short of laughs while doing it!
Our garden at Lulworth looks much brighter and happier now!
