At Lulworth House Residential Care Home we offer a number of pampering treatments to our residents.
We have now established a Ladies Club, which happens one afternoon a week, where our Activities Team offers our ladies hand massages, nail care and painting.
Our ladies love a good pampering and getting their nails done; one of them commented that getting her nails done regularly made her feel like ‘a new woman!’.
We open the club to gentlemen too if they would like their nails cleaned or trimmed. There’s nothing like a spot of pampering and relaxation.
Trip to the pub
On Monday afternoon we headed to our local, The Pippin, for a few drinks. Our residents love going to this pub as it is close and offers a great variety of drinks.
It was a lovely chance for everybody to get some fresh air as we sat in the beer garden. We also spent the time chatting about our favourite drinks, pets we’d had and each other’s families. Our residents loved this little trip and we hope to do it again soon.
